Hospice care encourages living fully to the end of life, with dignity and comfort, surrounded by a caring circle of support.
We believe that death is a natural part of the cycle of life, and that everyone has the right to die with dignity, in as pain-free of a manner as possible, and in a place of their choosing, surrounded by loved ones, as the patient desires.
We do not hasten nor postpone death. We simply provide the care & support needed to honour the individual’s choices.

The Hospice companions are a trained group of community volunteers dedicated to providing confidential, non judgmental support, comfort and care for individuals and their families in end of life experiences.
Helping is the sole reason for the existence of the Elk Valley Hospice.
Elk Valley Hospice supports everyone involved, from the individual to family and friends.
Our services are free.
Elk Valley Hospice is dedicated to supporting our community. Hospice volunteers can help guide you and/or your loved ones. We are here to help.
